Our church is structured around five key ministry areas from the Bible and worship is the first of these. To worship is to “declare the praises” of God. It is a time for us to rejoice in God, receive from God, and respond to God. And we do this through the best of what is contemporary and what is traditional.
We sing both hymns and worship choruses and we seek to be creative in worship through occasional drama, children’s stories, music teams, video mission presentations, prayer emphases, and practical and relevant messages from the Bible, in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
There’s a place for you to belong at New Life! And this involves our second key ministry: fellowship. The aim of our fellowship ministry is to care for people in practical ways and help them to experience a genuine sense of belonging in the church family.
This is the reason why New Life places such a strong emphasis on relationship building through ministries such as:
Church dinners & special events
Men and women’s ministries
Retreats and camps
Small Groups & Home Fellowships
As you consider where you will make your church home, remember that your sense of belonging at New Life is very important to us! There’s a place for you to fellowship at New Life.
The Men's and Women's Ministries of the church are designed to build and strengthen relationships for each group. This is done through bible studies, retreats, special events, and prayer partnerships among each group. These ministries understand the unique needs of men and women respectively, and serve as sources of great encouragement to our walk as disciples of Christ. We invite you to participate in these important opportunities for spiritual growth.
There’s also a place for you to discover at New Life! People often wonder what their purpose is in the world. They say that they need a place to discover, at their own pace, what their purpose or mission might be. Well this is specifically the focus of our third key ministry area, mission.
All believers in Christ have a mission in this world and we desire to help all people to discover and fulfill it. Through practical training and outreach opportunities we help people to “love thy neighbor” and make a difference in the eternal lives of others.
Perhaps you will discover something about your mission in life through our annual missions conference, or through an outreach training class, or a church planting project in New England, or a missions trip to a country across the world. But wherever your journey takes you, we want you to know that New Life is a great place for you to discover your mission. Come join the adventure and make desiples of all nations!
Community Outreach opportunities abound at New Life. Not only are we concerned for our ministry to the world through mission trips, missions giving, prayer, and more, we are also concerned about local mission to the communities of Greater Nashua. We actively serve community ministries like the CareNet Pregnancy Center, the Southern New Hampshire Rescue Mission, the Anne Marie House for the homeless, Teen Challenge, Habitat for Humanity, and more. In addition, New Life does direct outreach to the community through A.R.K. [Acts of Random Kindness], special outreach events, and personal evangelism.
Education
At New Life, education is very important to us. We believe that christians must keep learning if they are to keep growing as followers of Jesus. Our aim is to help people learn the bible so that they would become more like Jesus in his character, lifestyle, and ministry.
Therefore, the educational ministry at our Hudson location is built around our School for L.i.f.e. (Living in full effectiveness). This takes place on Sunday mornings at 11:15am for children, youth, and adults. Community-based bible studies occur during the week, along with AWANA Club for children. We also run Vacation Bile School [VBS] in July where we reach out to children in the community.
Stewardship
The stewardship ministry of our church is designed to help people use their time, talents, and treasures for God.
All that God has given us is His. We encourage everyone to use their financial resources and spiritual gifts to glorify God and accomplish the mission that He has given us. Discover the adventure of being a steward, and minister, for God!
There are three primary funds that New Life Church invests in through our weekly offerings. First there is the General Fund which supports the general expenses and operating costs of the church. Second, there is the Great Commission Fund which enables us to reach the world with the good news of Jesus Christ with fully supported missionaries. Third, there is the New England Mission Fund which enables us to plant new churches in New England, reaching out to a challenging mission field here at home. You also have an option of giving to the general fund online using PayPal.
